Cesto Nutritional Readings
The Escali Cesto scale is a portable, sleek nutritional tracker that is preprogrammed with 999 different food codes of the most commonly eaten foods. The scale allows users to save up to 99 codes of their most commonly eaten foods for quick memory and easy nutritional data. The user-friendly touch glass scale shows the calories, sodium, protein, fat, carbohydrates, cholesterol and fiber values which gives the consumer full knowledge of the nutritional value of the foods they eat. In this example, we are using one slice of cooked (Jack’s), frozen pizza which could be code 786 in the Cesto as an example of some of the readings:
Calories: A unit of energy. A calorie’s numeric value is based off of how much energy your body could get from eating or drinking it. Your body needs calories for energy but too many calories, without burning enough of them off through activity can lead to weight gain. 1 calorie=4.18400 joules.
